How to Do Oil Pulling: Step-by-Step

Choose Your Oil

For best results, use Yogik Bliss oil pulling oil, made from fractionated coconut oil and blended with essential oils. This Ayurvedic oral care oil is ready to use, gentle, and formulated to support oral health naturally.

Measure the Oil

Take 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of oil pulling oil, depending on your comfort level. Beginners should start with a smaller amount and gradually increase as they adjust to the routine.

Swish Gently

Place the oil in your mouth and swish gently around your teeth and gums. Aim for 10–20 minutes (start with 5 minutes if new). Keep your jaw relaxed and avoid gargling or swallowing.

Spit It Out

Spit the oil into a trash bin or paper towel. Avoid spitting into the sink to prevent clogging, as oil pulling removes toxins and bacteria from the mouth.

Rinse & Brush

Rinse your mouth thoroughly with water, then brush and floss as usual. Oil pulling complements your daily oral hygiene routine, but does not replace brushing.

Best Time to Oil Pull

For best results, do oil pulling daily in the morning on an empty stomach, before eating or brushing your teeth.

A light and refreshing oil with natural ingredients. I added this to my dental hygiene routine and my teeth feel so much cleaner! I’ve been in the dental field for 13 years and definitely recommend!

A Lighter, Easier Way to Do Oil Pulling
I had tried oil pulling before using plain coconut oil from another brand, and honestly, it was awful. The texture was heavy, the taste was unbearable, and after a few failed attempts, I gave up. So when I ordered Yogik Bliss, my expectations were pretty low.To my surprise, this oil is completely different. It feels much lighter, and the refreshing mint flavor makes it so much easier to swish around. I can now comfortably do oil pulling for five minutes or more, something I never thought I’d be able to stick with. The best part is the clean, fresh feeling it leaves in my mouth, along with a subtle minty taste that lasts. If you’ve tried oil pulling in the past and couldn’t stand it, Yogik Bliss is worth giving another shot. It makes the whole experience not just tolerable, but actually pleasant.
